Group Anaesthetic Services fully supports the recommendations of the National Institute for Clinical Excellence on pre-operative assessment and investigations.
This web tool, based on NICE guidance, will help ensure the correct routine investigations are carried out prior to surgery and minimise both un-necessary tests and potential delays.
The recommendations are colour coded in a similar way to traffic lights.
